It's January, it's dreary, and there are still several inches of snow on the ground. Kevin is having settling issues. He was diagnosed with mild PTSD, and has trouble sleeping at night. I'm already at that stage where I can't sleep at night. So when Kevin got around to finally painting our dark front living room walls, I was ecstatic, and looking for a reason to capture it with my camera. It is BRIGHT to say the least, and I love it. Some might not, but I do. When I took Gwen to get her a haircut, it was what I needed to use the wall as a backdrop.
Lex jumped in at one point shouting - ME ME! So when I went to take his picture, he stuck out his tongue. Go figure.
I'm thinking of a new haircut for myself. And who knows what else.
But I'm feeling a bit slow, and lethargic, and I need a kick to get me going. At least it's sunny today, but it will take forever for this snow to melt. C'mon spring crocuses, I need you!

I've been thinking of yellow for my new living room and couldn't decide. I think you just convinced me! It's so cheery!
Love the new haircut too :)
That wall is bright. Oh how I miss summer! One day, I will live somewhere long enought o paint the walls. One day!
I love Gwen's haircut.
Have a great weekend. Take it easy!
Love the colour.....it's so beautiful, bright and cheerful! Oh and the kids are pretty darn cute too! Xx
I love that bright yellow. We have a bathroom without windows and have a very similar yellow on the walls.
Did you cut your hair? It seems a haircut when your pregnant is nearly obligatory!
I was actually thinking of painting our new kitchen a nice, cheery yellow!
And yes, your new living room walls make an awesome backdrop!
