36 Weeks

So this week I'll hit 36 weeks. And wow are things going downhill fast. This morning I woke up grouchy and tired after staying up late getting photos uploaded from a large photoshoot last Monday (yes, I know, an incredibly smart thing to do when your belly is as big as mine). I've hit the point at the end of the pregnancy where everything hurts and sleep is a joke. But instead of hitting it near 40 weeks like I usually do, I'm there at 36. Ughhh. Plus I have pink eye. Fun fun!
Saturday I was walking through Menards with the family and getting a lot of looks, not sure exactly why, but assuming people were just staring at my tummy. Boy was I right. When I finally got to a mirror I saw that my shirt stopped at my belly button and the rest of my tummy was hanging out the bottom for all the world to see. And I didn't even care! Ha ha ha. Nothing really fits anymore, not even my shirts.
But other than me being Oscar the Grouch, things are going okay. We somewhat started to prepare for this baby, we have names chosen, and Kevin started getting a closet system together so we can start getting out old baby clothes. Yea for hand-me-downs :) Tomorrow I have an ultrasound to check the size of the little one. I'm sure he/she will be rather large, but hopefully not too large. We will see.
Well, that's it for my update for today, I'm off to the doc to get something to get rid of this awful pink eye, that I still don't know how I got.
